Yo New York! Are We Excited Yet? Knicks Sign Gabe Pruitt!
New York Vinnie had a little extra spring in his step after “Newsday” reported that My Boys the New York Knicks signed Free Agent point guard Gabe Pruitt to a one year non-guaranteed contract. Whoop De Frickin Doo! Watch out NBA Eastern Conference the Knicks are now armed and Frickin dangerous! Gabe Frickin Pruitt is a former second round pick by the Boston Celtics. The stupid Pud and his agent tried to play Frickin hardball with Danny Ainge in negotiating his rookie deal.
Pruitt was drafted along with Glen “Big Baby” Davis in the second round of the 2007 NBA Draft. Davis created no waves became a big part of the team and just signed an extension with the Celtics earlier this summer. Pruitt because he and his agents were a couple of Frickin Puds got on Boston’s bad side and he paid for it for the next two years. Pruitt averaged 7.4 minutes per game in his two years with the Celtics as he has career numbers of 2.0 points, 0.8 assists and 0.8 rebounds. Talk about being nailed to the Frickin bench! Boston basically said to him don’t let the Frickin door hit you on your way out as they waived him last month.
So the question now is two-fold can the Frickin guy play and did he learn a lesson from his rookie year? You know what they say one man’s garbage is another man’s treasure. We will soon find out what the Knicks picked up off the Frickin scrap heap of the NBA.
