Walsh Goes Back To Scrap Heap For Another Player! Signs Guard Sun Yue!

Your Old Pal New York Vinnie first read these awe-inspiring words when he was in grade school: “Give me your tired, your poor,Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me,I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”
That is the sign that has met refugees coming to Ellis Island from all over the globe for generations welcoming them to the USA. Little did New York Vinnie realize that over 30 years My Boys the New York Knicks would be recruiting players for their team with the same line!
The “New York Times” has reported that the Knicks have signed Free Agent guard Sun Yue to a partially guaranteed contract for the upccoming season. The 6′9″ point guard who is a native of Hebai, China spent last season nailed to the bench of the NBA Champions Los Angeles Lakers. He played in just 10 games the entire season his first in the NBA and averaged 0.6 points per game while averaging 2.8 minutes of playing time. New York Vinnie is not very impressed with his resume.
So this seems to be Donnie Walsh’s plan for the upcoming season as this signing comes on the exciting pick-up of former Boston Celtics cast-off Gabe Pruitt. The only question New York Vinnie has if the Knicks are going to be putting an NBDL team on the floor will they charge NBDL prices for seats? Somehow I do not think that will be the case.

New York Vinnie will never start a fight, but he's not afraid to finish one.. Mess with New York Vinnie and he'll rip your nuts off and throw them down the sewer!

Vinnie give the guy a chance! These Training Camp guys tend to produce some surprises from time to time, so who’s to say that Sun Yue doesn’t catch on? He’s actually got some interesting skills and great size for a ball distributor. Go look at some video of the guy and you can see he has great vision and can penetrate and kick as well. He’d be a project, but he’s cheap so why not? I’m pullin for the kid. It would spice things up to see Asian fans go crazy for the guy if he could get some floor time.

Yo NixLuva,
I would love to see this kid catch on My Man but the only times New York Vinnie ever saw him on the floor with the Lakers I was not impressed. Hey Magic was 6′9″ and of course we know what he could do. Your Old Pal New York Vinnie would just like to have seen a more productive Summer than getting Sun Yue and Gabe Pruitt. Walsh should have signed White Chocolate when he had the exclusive window. At least he would have been fun My Man!
