The NBA Should Take Away Orlando’s Eastern Conference Title!
New York Vinnie told you last week he was spitting Frickin bullets when he found out that Orlando Magic forward Rashard Lewis is a cheating Frickin Pud! When New York Vinnie gets mad it is not like he just blows off some Frickin steam has his say and every thing is all Hunky Frickin Dory! No it does not work that way unless a situation is Frickin rectified New York Vinnie stays Frickin angry!
In case you spent last week in a Frickin coma you are aware by now that Rashard Lewis part of the team that upset the Boston Celtics and the Cleveland Cavaliers in this past NBA post season will be suspended without pay for the first ten games of next season. The reason behind this Frickin Scumbago being suspended is he tested twice including during the Frickin NBA Finals for DHEA a substance that elevates your Frickin testosterone!
Nothing in this world makes New York Vinnie more upset than Frickin Cheaters! I have been bothered by this Frickin information since it came out. I am bothered that the Frickin High and Mighty Mr. Powerful Commissioner David Stern allowed this Pud to play once he tested positive. It also bothers New York Vinnie that a team that was Frickin cheating got away with it. So I think I have come up with an adequate Frickin solution!
Commissioner Stern you dropped the Frickin ball on this one but now you can fix it with one little decree! Take the Eastern Conference Championship away from the Frickin Orlando Magic! Do not allow known Frickin cheaters to prosper! They after all got it by having a player on their team who was a major part of their success who used an unfair advantage. They truly do not deserve the Title and the Banner that will hang in their Arena! They Frickin Cheated so you must take the Frickin title away!
Back in 1992 the Michigan Fab Five captured the Frickin imagination and the interest of NCAA Hoops fans Nationwide! They were the first all freshman starting five in Frickin NCAA history to make the the Final Four! In fact this team was so Frickin talented they made the Final Four in 1992 and 1993. If you were around watching hoops then you remember the Frickin excitement they caused! But don’t try looking up their appearances in the NCAA Record Books; they won’t Frickin be there!
You see there happened to be some money handed over to one of the biggest Frickin Scumbagos of all time Chris Webber. $280,000 to be exact was given to Webber by a Frickin Michigan booster. There was a Frickin federal investigation, a Grand Jury convened and the Frickin booster Ed Martin plead guilty to conspiracy. The NCAA then took the Final Four Banners away and took their Frickin names from the Record Books! The Final Four appearances and all the numbers behind them no longer exist.
Now Lewis is trying to come off as pure as the Frickin snow! This Frickin Pud says that he was shocked by this revelation! Yet Sir Sweet and Frickin Innocent never checked with the Orlando Team Trainers to find out if this supplement may have contained any funky Frickin ingredients. You know like the kind that raise your Frickin testosterone?
If Rashard Lewis was a young guy who was new to the Association his supposed Frickin ignorance on this subject might be more credible. However that is not the case with the veteran who just completed his eleventh season in the NBA. No Lewis was not some young man who was right off the Frickin turnip truck; he is a Frickin wiley cagey veteran who at the very least should have known better.
The Magic won two series in the Eastern Conference Playoffs against higher seeded teams; first the Boston Celtics and then the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavaliers before the series against Orlando were the Frickin favorites to win the NBA Title instead they never made it out of the Frickin Eastern Conference Finals.
To say that the Orlando victories in the Playoffs are Frickin tainted because of this cheating is a Frickin understatement! There will always be Frickin suspicion and most likely anger and hurt from fans of the Celtics and the Cavaliers. Unfortunately we are not going to have a new Eastern Conference Finals with Boston going up against the Cavaliers or that winner taking on the Los Angeles Lakers in the Finals. However there is something that can be done by the NBA to at least correct the situation a little Frickin bit.
Take the Frickin NBA Eastern Conference Title away from the Frickin Magic. There just would not be a winner of the Eastern Conference in 2009 the Lakers would win the NBA Finals in a 4-0 forfeit. Why should we as fans and the Association allow a team that Frickin cheated to retain their Title? Is that Frickin fair?
So Commissioner Stern for the first time in a long Frickin time do the right thing! Do not allow this to go unpunished. Show that cheating will not be Frickin tolerated in the NBA! It is all up to you!
New York Vinnie will never start a fight, but he's not afraid to finish one.. Mess with New York Vinnie and he'll rip your nuts off and throw them down the sewer!

First off, this has got to be the worst written article I’ve read in the last decade, you sound like one of those lebron lovers that still are crying, the fact is a team beat Boston and Cleavland, not a single player. You are a terrible writer.

NYV- the substance he took was in a nutritional supplement, and its not known to actually increase performance (studies have been done on it).
Rashard admitted he dint know but took responsibility for it, balled up and apologized to everybody involved. Also the supplement he took has been used for stress reduction and he might have had a hint of that what with his daughter being deathly sick and his brother having cancer and all. Of course he could be lying, but look at his career and playoff 2009 averages, see any great changes? nope. reason,buddy….. think… use that gourd for more than a beer and vomit stained NYC hat rack. I haven’t seen writing skills like these since my cousin’s kid wrote a 3rd grade article on why SpongeBob should be president.

At First New York Vinnie thought you might have had some credibility. Then you started with the insults so your Credibility is in the toilet as far as New York Vinnie is concerned My Man! I am well aware of what the supplement was as I have read quite extensively about this situation. The fact remains he did not ask his trainers about it before he took it. This is not a young inexperienced player we are dealing with here. This man had a bad reputation when he played for Seattle possibly you remember! The only reason a man who has played the length of time he has in the NBA would not ask his trainer would be if he had suspicions that it was wrong. The trainer works for your team Mitch is that not correct? So why would a player with good intentions not inform his trainers? You see Mitch New York Vinnie believes you are the one not using your coconut! As for your cousin’s kid perhaps they could teach you some manners!

yeah he should have asked but from what Ive read some of these supplements are so prevalent it’s hard to know what they’re in. do you really think of all the things out there he could get busted for, he’d take a chance on something like this? I mean if Im taking a chance im gonna go ahead and get jacked up with HGH man and maybe some hippopotamus fetal tissue as well.

But My Man you ever get a feeling when something is a little “Hinky” it just does not feel right? That is what New York Vinnie is feeling here the pieces just do not fit together. But I will tell you this and New York Vinnie is no fan of LeBron James. However I got a lot less problem with him not shaking hands than Rashard getting busted for a banned substance. And Yes I realize we are talking apples and oranges here Mitch but look at how every body got all up in arms over that and this is barely causing a ripple!

yes you have a point there. I wonder if we have become numb to the drugs in sports issue? I hope not, trust me I hate a cheater too, although obviously I have a tendency to believe Rashard most likely because I am a fan and really want to think he isnt a s**t heel. but I dont know honestly. I chose to give him the benefit of the doubt. What LeBron did was much less offensive than a knowing abuser of the drug rules. Still I must say, it was kinda crappy of him to not shake hands, but really I didnt lose any sleep over it.

I think to a certain degree that baseball has made sports fans in general sick of the subject. Do you remember when Bonds was going after the Hammer’s record what every body kept saying? Well one day A-Rod will break it and all will be cool because every body knows he is clean! Well guess what? The Frickin Pud was juicing just like the rest of them and he is a member of My Bronx Bombers! All fans want to believe the best about one of their own! New York Vinnie wanted so bad to believe that Zeke Thomas knew what he was Frickin doing and he destroyed my team! So I totally understand the loyalty and respect it My Man. New York Vinnie thinks your team is good though not as good as they were before they lost Hedo. That is going to hurt you guys now you put Pietrus in as the starter and you got Bass coming in off the bench. The reason Orlando was so tough was they had two small forwards with D-Howard they could do that because he is head and shoulders better than any other center in the NBA. So it gave match-up problems to teams like Boston and Cleveland they lose that advantage now. yeah I know it violates my natural cynical nature too, s**t maybe I’m just looking for something good in sports. I know theres enough greed and s**t out there. On the topic of our lineup, I am hopeful that ryan anderson will be the dark horse aspect of the vince carter trade and step up from beyond the arc and play a little physical as well. With pietrus we have come off the bench a little quicker but im hoping matt barnes can give us a spark. none of them will have rashards point production but maybe a bit more of a low post presence (shard was alway kinda a fragile porcelain mouse down low IMHP)

First of all thank you very much for the kind words! It is nice to know that there are some folks with some good taste out there! It is also always a pleasure when New York Vinnie meets a lady who knows sports! Yeah New York Vinnie may have gotten a little overboard this time with my favorite word! A site that picked up the article ACTUALLY took the time to count them and I used 65! If New York Vinnie’s sainted Moms was still around I would have mouth washed out with soap! As For Your question on the Finals OC Lady New York Vinnie at this point believes that the moves that the Celtics and the Cavaliers made at least on paper make them the two favorites if all stay healthy. I think Orlando will suffer without Hedo and one never knows how Vinsanity will act! Keep your eye on the Heat they could make some waves. Last year New York Vinnie’s darkhorse was the Hawks and they confirmed my faith! This year watch out for Charlotte, they won’t go far in the Post Season but I think they make it.
In The West OC Lady if I was a Lakers fan I would be very worried about Ron Artest. Tru-Warrior can ball with the best but he is a meltdown in the making. Denver will not be as good, the Hornets are tearing their team apart! Houston without Yao will have problems. Watch out for Dallas and San Antonio! Dallas really beefed up their front line and Jefferson will help the Spurs. How about Yourself OC Lady how do you see it shaking out?
