This is truly becoming a Frickin Classic in the eyes of New York Vinnie. If I ever made up a story like this you would think New York Vinnie is a bigger Nut-Job than you already Frickin Do! The “Associated Press” has reported that one of New York Vinnie’s favorite all time Frickin Puds is on the road again for the fourth time this summer. The Minnesota Timberwolves have traded veteran guard Quentin Richardson to the Miami Heat for a true stiff center Mark Blount.

Q-Ball who was one of the Puds that led New York Vinnie’s Boys the New York Knicks to nothing but pain and sorrow the last four seasons was traded on the night of the NBA Draft to the Memphis Grizzlies. The Grizzlies did not hold onto Richardson for long and they traded him to the Los Angeles Clippers. Richardson did not even have enough Frickin time to unpack his bags in Los Angeles before they shipped him off to the NBA version of Upper Slobovia. Now the veteran is with his fifth since the end of last season and there is still six weeks before NBA players go to camp!

Miami Heat President Pat Riley thinks that Richardson will be a strong addition to his club. Riley said “We are very excited to add Quentin Richardson. Over the course of his career, he has proven to be a fierce competitor, a great locker room presence and a very prolific 3-point shooter who may be one of the strongest perimeter players in the NBA. We feel that he will be able to match-up well against the top scorers in the league.”

New York Vinnie remembers when Riley was coaching My Boys years ago and knows his personality enough to realize that he will not put up with Q-Ball’s antics for long. Quentin Richardson is not a Pat Riley kind of player that is the plain and simple truth. Don’t be surprised when Q-Ball is on his way to another NBA city before the upcoming season is over!
