Olympiakos Strikes Again! Kleiza Leaves Nuggets For Greece!

Long before Janet Jackson decided to expose her “talent” to the Frickin Planet at the Super Bowl (which New York Vinnie did enjoy by the way! And if you are a straight male over the age of 11 you enjoyed it to! Admit it!) she had a hit called “What Have You Done For Me Lately.” Denver Nuggets Director of Basketball Operations Mark Warkentien was named NBA Executive of the Year this past season but he may soon be hearing that song from Nuggets fans. The “Associated Press” reported that the Nuggets have lost their second player to Free Agency this summer. Linas Kleiza who played for four seasons in the NBA all with Denver has signed a two year deal with Greek team Olympiakos. The Lithuanian forward reportedly will get $12 million for the two years.
Kleiza was known to have been a favorite of Nuggets head coach George Karl. A reported trade that would have brought the Nuggets Ron Artest from the Sacramento Kings fell through because the team would not allow Kleiza to be part of the deal. Last month Denver lost Dahntay Jones to the Indiana Pacers which will most likely be a hit to the team’s defense.
Kleiza was a key contributor off the bench for the Nuggets and was a big part of their getting to the NBA Western Conference Finals. If the forward would want to return to the NBA after the deal Denver would control his NBA rights. Warkentien told reporters “His road back to the NBA goes through Denver. The simple thing is we move on, we’ll replace him.”

New York Vinnie will never start a fight, but he's not afraid to finish one.. Mess with New York Vinnie and he'll rip your nuts off and throw them down the sewer!
