If for what ever reason you would come to New York Vinnie’s neighborhood ( I do not think that celebrity tours has set up a bus that passes my house yet but one never knows) you would hear a cliche uttered over and over again throughout the streets! That cliche would be “Once A Pud Always A Pud” and Vinnie is pretty sure that there are a lot of people in my neighborhood right now saying that about Nate Robinson!

You may remember that last week it looked like that the New York Knicks guard would be accepting a two year deal with Olympiakos to play in the Euro-leagues staring next season. Robinson it appeared was going to follow the lead of former Atlanta Hawks player Josh Childress and take more money to play across the ocean.

Well there was only one slight problem with that plan it turns out that Nate never wanted to go. The Associated Press has reported that Olympiakos has taken their two year deal to Robinson off the table because he did not want to fly to Greece. Nate perhaps someone neglected to mention to you that if you are going to be playing in Greece you have to live in Greece. It’s not like you can commute from Long Island every day there pal!

Olympiakos is now saying that they believe that Robinson was just using them to try to get a better offer from an NBA team. Unfortunately for Nate things moved too quickly and he was caught with his shorts down. Most likely he will now have to settle for a much smaller offer than he would have had Olympiakos not been involved! So Nate Robinson This Puds for You!
