Okay welcome back to another exciting edition of New York Vinnie’s Hit And Run! This segment is when New York Vinnie finds somebody or something that truly eats Vinnie’s Frickin craw. Sometimes it will have to do with sports other times it will not. Today’s victim does come from the World of Sports the NBA to be exact.

We travel to the West Coast to find the Frickin Pud who wins the Award this time around. Lamar Odom he of the NBA World Champs the Los Angeles Lakers apparently has allowed greed to get better of him. According to reports from the Los Angeles Times the Lakers have pulled a 3 year contract worth $27 million off the table. Why you ask? Because Odom the Frickin Pud wanted a longer deal!

Odom has played 10 years in the NBA and is a good player. Not a great player he is a good player with career averages of 11.3 points and 8.2 rebounds per game in his career. New York Vinnie believes that you just walked away from a pretty good deal. Lamar you will be 32 years old at the end of that contract. How about this for a Frickin novel concept? Sign the deal and if you got anything left in the tank in three years then sign another one!Instead you are walking away from being a member of the World Champs and getting paid pretty well not to be a starter!

Odom also forgot that his team signed Crazy Ron Artest to play for them next season which makes Odom a lot more expendable than he was last year! So for a combination of Greed and Stupidity we honor Lamar Odom  with this edition of the New York Vinnie’s Hit And Run Award!
