Nate Robinson Wants To Play In Greece? Enjoy The Ouzo Pal!
New York Vinnie is a firm believer in capitalism because it truly is the American Way! New York Vinnie is also a fan of Free Agency in Sports. As far as I am concerned a player should be able to pick and choose what ever team he wants to play on. We got rid of slavery in this country back in 1865 any pro player should be able to make the choice to play for who ever he wants to. That player should also be able to earn what ever the market shall bear.
However New York Vinnie learned a long time ago you got to negotiate from a position of strength not weakness. If you negotiate out of weakness then the system has you by the short hairs if you catch my drift! Players like Kobe and LeBron and Dwight Howard they will negotiate from a position of strength. But when it comes to players like the New York Knicks guard Nate Robinson it is a totally different story.
According to the New York PostRobinson who had a pretty decent last season with My Boys the Knicks is supposedly close to signing a deal with the Greek team Olympiakos. As far as New York Vinnie is concerned don’t let the door hit you on the backside on your way out of the building! If you think Vinnie or any other Knicks fans are going to be shedding any tears over your leaving you are sadly mistaken pal.
Robinson had the best season of his four year career last season with My Boys as he averaged 17.2 points, 4.1 assists and 3.9 rebounds per game. Pretty impressive numbers and at 25 years old he could have some potential one day as a consistent force in the league. But the bottom line Nate is this the Knicks finished in last place in their division and had the second worst record in the entire Eastern Conference. They could have gotten there Nate whether you were with the team or not!
So New York Vinnie’s advice to Nate is sign that contract My Man and have fun in Greece. Nobody is going to miss you at Madison Square Garden and probably not too may will miss you in the entire NBA! Guess what Pal? The NBA will still play it’s schedule next year whether you are in Greece, New York or even Frickin Hong Kong! So have a good time with Olympiakos Nate and drink some ouzo for New York Vinnie!

Occasionally, you’re right. No one will miss Nate.
The Knicks can lose 50 with or without Nate, it makes little difference.
Of course the Knicks will be a lot more boring team to watch while they are losing 50. Sometimes its nice to actually have something entertaining going on when you’re at a game! But for those of us who just read about last night’s loss, we will have little reason to care.
See ya Nate, you were one of the few who could make a bad team worthy of at least a couple of our entertainment dollars.
