When the “TV Pretty Boys” tell you that LeBron James will bolt Cleveland to come to the “Greatest City To Ever Exist On The Planet, New York City” they tell you the reason is so he can be a “Global Marketing Presence.” Well as Your Old Pal New York Vinnie has been telling you all along that is nothing but a Frickin bunch of Malarkey. Further proof of that came to light on Thursday as the “Associated Press” is reporting that “King James” can soon add the title of Movie Star to his resume.

According to reports James will spend next summer in “Tinsel Town” as he plays himself in a new flick by Universal Pictures called “Fantasy Basketball Camp.” The movie is to take place in Vegas and is supposed to be about these five dudes from all different walks of life to attend a camp run by James.

Veteran movie producer Brian Grazer is the point guy on this project and said he originally reached out to the reigning NBA MVP for a different reason. Grazer told reporters “I initially sought LeBron out because my 8-year-old son, Thomas, and I were just dying to meet him. But I felt that beyond being one of the world’s great superstar athletes, here was someone so relaxed and comfortable with himself that he would have the capability to be that way on screen. Later, when I watched him host ‘Saturday Night Live,’ and saw his advertising work, it was clear he can do this.”

James has also hosted the ESPY Awards show and done lots of TV commercials and has always looked at home in front of the camera. So once again Cleveland; get your Frickin panties out from being bunched up because Your Boy is going nowhere next summer except for Hollywood!
