So according to ESPN, KG is running around calling people cancer patients. Does KG grasp how moronic and insensitive this makes him look? The warrior should now be called the coward. Who references cancer and a player’s performance? Evidently, this was a tweet / twit/ whatever u call it. According to Charlie Villaneuva KG has made this “personal.” I’m just parroting what ESPN reported but it doesn’t take a rocket scientist or better yet a 5th grader to realize KG’s poor comparison.
Everyone and I mean EVERYONE has had some experience with cancer. Currently, my father is suffering from stage 4 lung cancer—- I want KG to not only apologize to myself but to EVERY person who has dealt with cancer. I don’t wish cancer on my worst enemy. KG was callous and cocky (something he is known for). He took it to a whole new level and he not only should be fined but should be suspended for such DISGUSTING comments. I may be a Lakers worshipper but I have always respected KG’s work ethic—even back in his days with the Wolves. There have been mumblings in the media for years that KG is a thug and today he confirmed those rumors.
KG you are a disgrace and have embarressed the league and the storied franchise in which you play for. Red Auerbach would have spit in your face for being such an ass! Garnett is quoted by ESPN:
“My comment to Charlie Villanueva was in fact ‘You are cancerous to your team and our league,'” Garnett said. “I would never be insensitive to the brave struggle that cancer patients endure. I have lost loved ones to this deadly disease and have a family member currently undergoing treatment. I would never say anything that distasteful. The game of life is far bigger than the game of basketball.”
There ya go I posted KG’s statement. I don’t believe what he says to be true. Now he is just reacting to try to downplay his selfish and indignant ways. Villanueva has a hair condition in which all hair from his head is missing. Garnett whether he admits it or not was making fun of his lack of hair and comparing him to a patient going through chemotherapy. I want KG to experience what it feels like to have poison injected into his body just to attempt to gain a few more months of life. I don’t see KG’s joke as funny and in fact it makes me sick. Bleep you KG!
