If D-Wade Joins Superman In Orlando They Could Be Magic For The Next Decade!

In the the mind of Your Old Pal New York Vinnie there are currently five players in the NBA that are head and shoulders above every other player that is now playing in the league. Those five players are in no particular order; LeBron James-Cleveland Cavaliers, Kobe Bryant-Los Angeles Lakers, Chris Paul-New Orleans Hornets, Dwight Howard-Orlando Magic and Dwyane Wade-Miami Heat. New York Vinnie truly believes that is a sport that has some of the best athletes on the Planet these five men just tower above the rest of the competition.
As you are most likely very well aware two of the aforementioned players can become unrestricted Free Agents at the end of the current NBA season. Now New York Vinnie has told you way too many times that I believe that LeBron James will sign a long-term contract extension with Cleveland. You can go on listening to the “Television Pretty Boys” who have put him on just about every NBA franchise next year except for possibly the Oklahoma City Thunder. New York Vinnie has nothing further to add to the situation concerning the status of the “Chosen One.” At this point we will have to just wait and see who is right and who is wrong.
Up until Thursday morning New York Vinnie also thought it was pretty much a lead pipe cinch that D-Wade would also come to the conclusion that “There Is No Place Like Home” and also sign a contract extension with his current team the Miami Heat. However after reading an interview the Miami All-Star had with “RealGM.com” New York Vinnie is not really sure what to think at this point.
There has been a lot of speculation over the last few months about the possibility of Wade and LBJ playing together on the same team from many members of the media. Some scenarios have D-Wade signing with the Cavaliers while others have both players going to a new team where they can play on the same squad. Wade told the website that he is interested in playing with another one of the players on New York Vinnie’s list of the NBA elite; but the “Chosen One” is not his choice.
The Miami Heat guard says that the player he would really like to play with is the man who is the most dominant man in the middle in the NBA in 2009. Wade would like to join up with “Superman” Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard and has already thought about what the two could accomplish together on the same team.
Wednesday at the conclusion of practice at Miami’s Amway Arena reporters had time to pick the Miami Heat guard’s brain about what the future might hold. Wade told the media “If I could pick one player in the league today to play with; and most people think I’d say LeBron James; I would pick Dwight. I’d love for that to happen at some point. Dwight is already close right here in Orlando. People who say it couldn’t happen they don’t know. I’ve learned in this league that anything is possible. I’ve played with a dominant center before, and there’s nothing like it. It changes the whole game. It’s why I’d love to play with Dwight. He’s a phenomenal center who has only just scratched the surface of where he’ll be.”
Wade is Frickin Spot-On in his analysis of D-Howard; the Magic center is just 23 years old! Picture this man at his athletic peak at 29-31 and the thoughts of what he could become if he stays healthy and focused are Frickin Mind Boggling! And if you put him together with the 27 year old Wade starting next year they could become the greatest dynasty since the Frickin Boston Celtics in the sixties!
Now is this just some idle speculation about a deal that could never happen? Wade thinks that the idea is actually viable. He said “I bet Vince Carter never thought he’d be playing one day with Dwight. I never thought I’d have the chance to play with Shaquille O’Neal, but it happened. It happened in Boston, with KG, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce all coming together. I said from Day One that I wanted to be in Miami, that maybe I could get certain players to come to Miami, but at the same time, this is my only chance at free agency. There are a lot of possibilities out there. And nothing is impossible.”
We have seen some deals pulled off over the past few years that just days before looked like they never could be Frickin feasible. When it comes to the NBA if there is a will there is a way. Now Bottom Line does New York Vinnie really believe that this NBA Marriage will take place? Most likely not; but if it does it could alter the NBA for close to the next decade.

New York Vinnie will never start a fight, but he's not afraid to finish one.. Mess with New York Vinnie and he'll rip your nuts off and throw them down the sewer!
