Hawks Add Free Agent Center Collins To Beef Up Bench!

The Atlanta Hawks added another piece to help bolster their Bigs on the bench as the “Associated Press” has reported that Atlanta has signed veteran Free Agent center Jason Collins for the upcoming season. Terms of the deal have not been released. The seven foot veteran who played most of his eight years in the NBA with the New Jersey Nets played for the Minnesota Timberwolves last season.
Collins is the second addition to the front-court for the Hawks in the last few days. Late last month Atlanta signed veteran Joe Smith who played down the stretch for the Cleveland Cavaliers last season. Collins played with New Jersey when the team represented the Eastern Conference in the NBA Finals in 2002 and 2003.
