Former Blazers center Chris Dudley; who was one of the worst free throw shooters of all time during his NBA career has decided to seek the Republican nomination for Governor from the state of Oregon according to the “Associated Press.” Dudley played a total of 16 seasons and though the bulk of his career was spent playing for Portland he also had stints with the Cleveland Cavaliers, the New Jersey Nets, the Phoenix Suns and New York Vinnie’s BOYS the New York Knicks.
Dudley is a graduate of Yale University and will take on two challengers in the G.O.P. Primary next May.
