End The Drama Donnie! Buy Out Nate’s Contract!

One thing that has always fried New York Vinnie’s bacon is teams with below .500 records making the Playoffs in any sport. In New York Vinnie’s opinion it is bad enough to reward a team with a .500 record in the Post Season; isn’t a .500 record a sign of mediocrity? As far as New York Vinnie is concerned it is, and if you have more Frickin losses than you do wins then you are below Frickin mediocre. You are just out and out Frickin bad!
If New York Vinnie was ever named “Emperor Of Sports” that would be my first official act. From that day forward no longer would a team with more losses than wins get into the Playoffs. Unfortunately that is not the case and if the NBA Playoffs would be held after Monday night’s schedule only the top five teams would have winning records.
The sixth, seventh and eighth slots would all be filled wiith teams that are playing below .500 and “MY BOYS“ the New York Knicks would just be one game out with a record of 10-17 before they take on the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday night.
Disgusting as that is that is the current state of the NBA that a team with more losses than wins could make the Post Season and the New York Knicks right now are in the mix. So with that in mind New York Vinnie is going to call on “MR. MALARKEY” otherwise known as New York Team President Donnie Walsh to do the right thing! According to the “New York Post” it looks like you have a deal all but in place to buy Knicks unhappy guard Nate Robinson out of his contract. Don’t let this thing drag on Donnie and destroy what slim chances we Knicks fans of making the Playoffs.
Reports Tuesday were that Walsh and the agent for Robinson Aaron Goodwin spoke Monday about a possible settlement on the point guard’s contract. New York would love to trade the former NBA Slam Dunk Contest Champion but Nate has veto power over any trade and so far the only team he said he would go to is the Boston Celtics. (That must be the team disgruntled Knicks guards prefer as Stephon Marbury signed with them last year after he was bought out of his contract.)
Walsh was asked by reporters would he be willing to buy the guard out of his contract. He responded “When I signed him I thought he’d be an important player on the team. I don’t know. We’ll have to talk about it, OK, what is it (how much money Robinson would want to end the deal.)”
According to reports Robinson is owed a base salary of $4 million plus he would get another $1 million if New York makes the Post Season. The paper speculated that if they could get Goodwin and Robinson to accept $3 million they would save themselves $2 million if the Knicks make the Playoffs.
One of the things that New York Vinnie really dislikes about the Frickin Dynamic Duo of “El Douche” Knicks Team Owner James Dolan and “MR. MALARKEY” is they keep making these bad Frickin deals and then expect the guy who signed the Frickin contract to walk away for pennies on the dollar. Last season they pulled that Crapola with Zeke Thomas and Starbury. When New York Vinnie is sticking up for Frickin Isiah Thomas and Stephon Marbury then you have to know the guys they are going up against are total Frickin Scumbagos.
Walsh signed Robinson to a one year deal just before Training Camp. Regardless of what happened this season Nate was out the Frickin door at the end of the season. Now head coach Mike D’Antoni has no use for him in the line-up. That’s fine then do the right thing Donnie pay the young man off send him on his way and wish him luck. And let us see if this club can make the Post Season.

New York Vinnie will never start a fight, but he's not afraid to finish one.. Mess with New York Vinnie and he'll rip your nuts off and throw them down the sewer!
