Does A New Year Mean A New Start For Nate? Just Could Be!

For the last month New York Knicks guard Nate Robinson might as well have been Frickin named “Claude Rains” as he was truly the “Frickin Invisible Man” on the club. Knicks head coach Mike D’Antoni; a man that every day becomes just a little bit harder to figure out had Robinson “Frickin Super-Glued” to the bench since December 1.
No matter what the situation was whether Nate could have been a help or not he got zero minutes. Robinson’s agent asked for his client to be traded or released and it was just another lousy thing that was going on with”MY BOYS” in this season. That all changed on Friday as the shackles and manacles were taken off of Robinson against the Atlanta Hawks and he exploded for 41 points and led New York Vinnie’s BOYS the Knicks past the Hawks at the Phillips Arena in overtime by a final 112-108.
New York Vinnie asked a very wise man how he got successful and his words have stuck with me ever since. He said that 90% of success comes down to being in the right place at the right time. However the other 10% is far more important; that is what do you do with the opportunity when it is presented to you? Friday night Nate Robinson took full advantage of his opportunity and it looks like he has found some minutes during games as a result.
Sit back for just a moment if you would please; and think about the amount of Frickin pressure that was on Robinson Friday. By all rights he had a million reasons to not play well; the Hawks are a great Frickin team and he had not seen any action in a month. That is just skimming the Frickin iceberg; he knew though that this was his one chance to reclaim a role. If he had been a bum on the floor then D’Antoni would have been able to spin it as a reason not to give him another shot.
New York Vinnie was pretty impressed when D’Antoni was coaching the Suns; he seemed like a great coach. However now that New York Vinnie has watched Mike coach every game for almost a year and a half; I am no longer that impressed. He holds grudges and he is vindictive; not great qualities you want in the guy who is supposed to be the motivator for 12 players. His philosophy is he wants 8-9 guys to like him and the rest of the team can pound Frickin salt.
Well Mike you lost your excuse to keep Nate out of the rotation on Friday. If he plays like he did against the Hawks “My Boys” could end up making the Playoffs after all.

New York Vinnie will never start a fight, but he's not afraid to finish one.. Mess with New York Vinnie and he'll rip your nuts off and throw them down the sewer!

Dude what are you talking about. MDA is completely redefining what this team stands for. From loser mentality to WINNERS mentality. You think it’s personal? You don’t understand the man and what he’s trying to do. Go back and read about the mans intensity as a player and coach in Europe. Learn that he only wants to WIN. He’s eventually going to make this team into a team of winners and you’ll be cheering.

YO NixLuva;
New York Vinnie thought you were talking about Jerry’s Kids when you put MDA! HOO-HAA!! My Man; New York Vinnie thinks that just like me you bleed Blue and Orange! But you truly are drinking his Frickin Kool-Aid? New York Vinnie knows about his years in Europe; that is all well and good My Man! And NixLuva if he does turn this Team around New York Vinnie will be singing his praises. Remember why Zeke got the extension? Any coach can win a Few Games, give us a Season
