Count Manu Enjoys Making Shots More Than Getting Shots!

If Manu Ginobili stops showing up for day games we will all know the reason why. New York Vinnie realizes this is not really a laughing matter but how ironic was it that an NBA player got bit by a bat while plaing in a game on Halloween? In case you missed it Saturday night as the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Sacramento Kings a bat decided to join the festivities for Halloween night. Ginobili knocked the bat from the sky to teh floor and picked it up to dispose of it. Unfortunately the Frickin bat was none too happy; it bit Ginobili and then flew away.
Because the bat escaped “Count Manu” is now having to go through a series of rabies shots the first of which he had this past Monday. The “San Antonio Express-News” is reporting that Ginobili will have to go though the series of shots in his arm and his hip four more times over the next month. When reporters asked him to describe the experience he replied ““It wasn’t so much fun. “But the bat survived. I’m fine. I’m not going to have rabies.”
Although the shots are painful the team does not expect the veteran guard to miss any time due to the injury. “Count Manu” was asked if he had any advice for others. The veteran responded “Kids, don’t do this at home. Don’t handle bats. Don’t swat them. Don’t do anything. Or raccoons.”

New York Vinnie will never start a fight, but he's not afraid to finish one.. Mess with New York Vinnie and he'll rip your nuts off and throw them down the sewer!
