Hi I’m From Europe…Here Is Why I Don’t Give A Crap About Euroleague

I’d like to talk about European basketball if I may and specifically about the good almighty Euroleague. Well it’s plainly CRAP, but to lean towards the democratic side let me explain why I say this. The Euroleague Final 4 took place a few weeks back and excuse me for not peeing in my pants from excitement. Why?Ok let’s just say that a divine, key and defining moment occurred in the second semi final between Real Madrid and Maccabi Tel-Aviv when Big Sofo (that Shaq look-a-like from Greece) was running on the break to establish position on the low post and that punk, filthy chicken-shit, ultimate opportunist  Pablo Prigioni (ARG) stood in front of him flat footed and took the charge.. Now I’ve been watching basketball for 26 years and I swear I never saw that “intelligent” play before. I mean in the name of Dr. Naismith the guy didn’t even have the ball! I also “enjoyed” the delicious play by the same retard when he had a 3 on 2 break and he was “nice” enough to just wait for everybody to get down the court. THERE HE IS if you ever see him in person just throw at him whatever you can get your hands on, tables, beer bottles, watches, chicken with black been sauce, hamsters, pubic hair…I don’t care! My intention is really not to crap all over ol’Latin Lovah’s silk Armani shirt but the whole way of thinking and playing here in Europe. Let’s break down this whole system shall we? Ready? Well here we go: Every year 24 teams play and with the exception of France the...

The Hollywood Heat aka King James – Shut your Trap!

Rose and Durant are the new NBA. They have replaced the likes of Kobe and the Boston trio. They may be new stars but this is not their time. Fellow lebasketbawl reader “Jim” thinks its Kyrie Irving’s time but he is lost… It is the time of the player’s NBA with the Miami Heat reaching such prominence. I’m not a true hater of the Heat but I do share the same dislike that Barkley has. I haven’t been tormented like King Charles with the “towel episode” and the “middle finger bonanza.” However, I have taken my fair share of criticism. Now it doesn’t help that King James can’t shut his f*ckin trap. He had to pontificate and tell the OKC Thunder what they were doing wrong. Last I checked he still has to beat the Chicago Bulls.  The Hollywood Heat have got to shut their mouths and just get the job done. Barkley’s right, they like to hear themselves talk and feed their monstrous egos! Go...

Dirk Diggler Was Limp But Found a Way to Get it Up

Dirk Diggler shot 7 for 21 last night. He Won and lebasketbawl gives him props. He found a way to win even when his shooting touch was gone. He did get a lil help from his friends. Marion dropped 18pts while Terry, Kidd, and Chandler chipped in 13 pts each. Chandler’s 15 boards was most impressive. Leaders find ways to win. After 14 years in the league Nowitzki is a leader and a go to. I firmly believe this is the year of the Dirk. Kevin Durant struggled and OKC played from behind most of the game. Durant missed all 8 treys that he attempted. They got it to within 3 in the fourth (thanks to a Westbrook trey) but they were not able to take the lead. Durant shot 1 worse then Dirk with 7-23 shooting. The difference in this game was again the bench. In game 2 the OKC bench blasted th Mavs. In game 3 the Dallas bench stuck it to OKC bench 28 to 16. Westbrook responded well to his benching. He scored 30 points with 8 for 20 shooting. His shooting wasn’t great but his effort was. It’s gonna be a damn good series. Game 4 is Monday Night. However, tonight it is all about the Bulls. Lebasketbawl is pulling for D Rose to stick it to the whiny group called the Miami...

Cleveland Cavalier’s About to Make Colossal Mistake – Kyrie and Julius Irving Have Nothing In Common

I have skipped the “feel good” story about Dan Gilbert’s son and the NBA lottery. My mother always told me ” if you don’t have something nice to say, say nothing at all.” I can not stay quiet any longer. The Cavs defied all odds (cough, cough, was it rigged? The T’Wolves think so) and managed to grab the 1st and 4th picks. All the hype from the draft turds are saying that the Cavaliers are going to take Kyrie Irving first in the draft. This would be a heinous and horrible mistake. It will set this franchise back for years to come. Just because he shares Dr. J’s last name doesn’t mean it equates to greatness! I realize that this is a weak draft. That is the reason why the Cavs have to be extremely careful. Cleveland has been through hell and back over the years. The Time of Lebron was short lived compared to Cleveland’s dreadful history. I want to see them improve and not flounder ala the Sac Kings. Remember when the Portland Trailblazers took Greg Oden?! The Supersonics (now Thunder) took Durant. Who is playing in the Western Finals? Nuff’ Said. If NY Vinnie was still here he would say “Irving is a freakin’ mistake and those idiots are going to ruin a franchise.” Vinnie always had a soft spot for Cleveland. Kinda odd considering he was a NYC boy. I have no delusions, no love for Cleveland. I’m a bona-fide Lakers fan. That being said I do feel some sadness for the City. In the empty promises Dan Gilbert shouted out in his Anger, stating that the Cavs will win a...
