are you serious devin harris aint starting wow allen iverson isnt a point guard he hasnt mad the pistons dhat bettah!!! come on now

Yi Jianlian 3rd for fowards, that’s a joke, everyone who voted for him should be ashamed of themselves. there should be a rule that you have to play a certain amount of games to be on the ballot at all (arenas & shaq a few years back)

it doesnt say anything about selecting 1 point guard and 1 shooting guard so your knock on iverson, saying hes not even a pg means nothing. What you should have said was hes not doing so well and doesn’t deserve to make the all stars over all those other guys. All the people that vote Yi are the opposite of ashamed they are all Chinese and proud of their hero….the real issue here is guys like tmac that s**k and get picked. Jose Calderon is a top point in the league…now im not saying he’s an all star yet but hes 100 times better the tmac and iverson and ridnour and rose who are all ahead of them…..All sports are like this and all all star games s**k..coached should make the decisions, no question about it

i love AI go derroit go FOR CHAMPION
January 16th, 2009 at 9:21 am
All you guys are ignorant idiots
Jose calderon is not better than tmac and will never be so i dont know who would say that.
The people picked deserve it. Injuries and stress causes them to stop being beasts but they deserve it. 5 years ago you guys were all on these guys nuts and now ur liike moving on to the sucky rookies.

The uninformed fans voting on the all star starters was never a problem before because the coaches pick the rest of the team. But with the huge Chinese block of voters with their eye on Yao and the rockets have caused major mistakes. Tracy McGrady over Chris Paul? Yi J. over Chris bosh, or Danny Granger? No way Dirk Nowitzki is behind Ron Artest. Maybe we need to make a change. Imagine if you were Al Jefferson, and did the work to become an all star but some other dude got the vote because the fans don’t know JACK!
